I Turned My Photo Into a South Park & Anime Character—Here’s How You Can Too!

Okay, this is seriously one of the coolest things I’ve played with lately—did you know you can now use ChatGPT to turn a real photo into a cartoon… in literally any style you want?

Yep. You can become a South Park character, a Dragon Ball Z warrior, a Pixar character, anime hero—you name it. And it’s surprisingly easy and super fun.

🛠️ So… How Does It Work?

Let’s break it down. It all comes down to what’s called AI image generation using prompts. Basically, you describe what you want to see, and AI does the rest.

For example, I took this image of someone sitting inside a washing machine wearing neon green (yes, it’s as amazing as it sounds), and used a prompt like:

“A 2D digital illustration of a woman in South Park style, sitting in a washing machine, wearing neon green, with green heels and sunglasses, on a turquoise background.”

Boom. South Park version generated. 😄

Then, I tried a totally different vibe with this next image of a woman in a red skirt and leather jacket, walking confidently with that anime main character energy. I gave ChatGPT a prompt like:

“Anime-style digital illustration of a young woman in a red mini skirt and black leather jacket, walking confidently on a concrete surface in dramatic sunlight, Dragon Ball Z style, full body.”

And just like that—Dragon Ball Z vibes, sharp lines, action-style shading, all from the original photo.

It’s wild.
